Healthy eyes are set to focus yellow and the middle of the color spectrum. However, that makes red and blue appear slightly out of focus. While, the white sunlight contains all the colors and the red and blue extremes will make any white object seem somewhat hazy. Amber sunglasses can block blue and red parts of sunlight effectively, letting your concentrate on the yellow colors that are easier to focus.
