How do you get a “dog license”?
I know that you can’t own more than 3 dogs in a household unless you have a license, correct? How do you earn that license? Do you have one?

Huh? In most places EACH dog needs a license.
Are you talking about a kennel license?
All this depends on where you live and what the rules are there.
What’s correct here — 4 dogs in residental unless you are zoned SR-10 or AG, whereas you can get a non-commercial kennel license for up to 20 dogs may well not be what is the law where you live.
I do have a non-commercial kennel license. All you do is apply and pay the fee here.
Are you trying to get more dogs, or report someone? Either way, better get your facts straight.
